Hi Beautifulbaldman, The motion sensor is located on the camera itself and, to a degree, depends on the camera's set direction. For optimal results, the motion sensor should be kept level (e.g., its x-axis when facing the camera), with the camera tilted at about 22 ° downward. For best results, the camera should be mounted 8 ft (2.5 m) above the ground and positioned so that most movement passes through the lens' field of view (rather than directly toward the camera), helping trigger motion detection and AI detection.
