Q: QuestionCan i use this phone with WIFI without having it activated first?I got this phone because it was a 4G WIFI hoping to get faster internet speed without the buffering effect on 3G phones. So can i use it for internet without having to activate the phone or buy an airtime card?

• A:Answer Yes, yes, yes you can use it for WiFi without it being activated! I purchased the phone with the intention of using it as a "dedicated" mp3 player for my Bluetooth headphones and haven't activated any of the Trackphone stuff. The extra bonus is that yes I can use it for Wifi too!

Q: QuestionIs it possible to set this phone to notify me audibly more than ONCE when I get a text message?My current phone lets me set the frequency of how many times it notifies me that I have a text waiting, so if I am not by my phone I have it set to sounds off every 2 minutes, so I don't miss messages.

Q: QuestionGood for kids?I'm searching for a smart phone for my younger kids. I DO NOT want them to be able to make calls or send texts. Only to be able to watch YouTube and play kid apps. Would this be a good choice? I see the comments regarding the keyboard size, and that shouldn't be a problem.

• A:Answer I hope you purchased one as I just found out how great it was for just playing games and YouTube too! Need Wi-Fi but no added expenses. Best one I found so go for it! You have to purchase minutes for texting/calling so if you don't, they can't.

• A:Answer I was able to send multiple messages to different numbers without issues. However be aware that you don't have unlimited messaging and for each number on the list you send out to, 1 text message is deducted from your pool of messages.

Q: QuestionTransfering minutes.I just read your answer that a smart phone can't be used with Safelink, but that minutes can be transferred. Does that mean that you can transfer minutes from a safelink phone to an android one?
