- Answer 9 or 10 cents a minute for calls. 3 cents for a text. Web sites (very very basic) maybe 5 cents/minute.

QuestionI have an old galaxy 4 cell phone Verizon wireless. Wondering if I can hook up through Trac phone? How does that work? Will my granddaughter be able to test? Also she doesn't need Internet but... will she have it if she is on wifi?

- Answer CALL TRACFONE CS 1-800-867-7183? They can tell you if your phone can be converted and new number assigned. Yes, she can text, but internet is extremely slow and expensive since it takes data minutes quickly. (A cheap tablet is a better option for internet, especially with wifi available.) Tracfone cs can answer the wifi use questions, but ask about the cost of using it with wifi. If granddaughter expects to use cell ph often, a family plan with verizon or another carrier may be cheaper. My tracfone is primarily for emergency, because I have landline and internet.

- Answer According to the Tracphone website it will work in the 97103 area. LG441 VS LG442, the LG441 has basic 256 ram of internal memory for storage of phone numbers/contacts, etc. while the LG442 has 2Gigabytes of ram for storage.

If you want to pay the least amount of money just to use the phone right away, you would pay for the phone and the least expensive airtime card you see there, so it could be around $20. If you want the best value, you can get the "365 day" airtime card and you'd spend about $120 total.

- Answer Not so much how many minutes per dollar you get because the more you buy the more minutes you get . So on the low end it's probably 6 minutes per dollar.
