A: No minutes,no service time and does have a SIM.For 20 dollars you can buy 90 days and 60 minutes the minutes double to 120.

A: You buy a prepaid tracfone card ( $20, $40 etc). The phone will stay active for 90 days. At or before the 90 days you add another prepaid card for another 90 days. The minutes will roll over.

Your best bet is to contact the Tracfone customer service, I have called them three times in 6 years and never had a problem or difficulty with them handing my problem.
