• This is already a Tracfone branded phone and contains the SIM card necessary to operate on the service.

• Good morning, D. Your phone comes with its compatible SIM card. There is no need to purchase one. Please feel free to purchase the phone and a service card at your nearest Wal Mart. It would definitely work.
