A:Answer There is a widget on this phone that does in fact show you exactly what you want to see. This widget will show you your remaining talk minutes, remaining text minutes and remaining data. If you check your balance like the tracfone representative suggests, you will be using your text minutes every time you want to see your balance. This is how : You will have to look for the widget as you will not see it loaded on the phone out of the box. To do this you just tap and hold any blank space on the phone, look at the bottom of the screen. you will see wallpapers, themes, widgets, and home settings at the bottom. Tap widgets. There are several widgets you can chose from. Just click and drag any of the widgets where ever you want it. You can also add airtime minutes using this widget. Or you can access the same info in the tracfone app. Don’t use your text minutes just to check your balance like the tracfone rep suggests, it shouldn’t cost money just to check your balance.
