- Answer Headset has a switch to change from PS4 to PC mode. I have used this headset for listening to music on my Asus laptop( good sound quality ) but have not used the microphone on PC.

- Answer See my review of this item, I can't speak to your specific controller, but the Mic Monitoring was one of the sole reasons I bought this set. It works great and it is even variable so I can turn down the volume of my own voice if I want to. Not being able to hear yourself when playing with friends is frustrating.

- Answer One cord goes from the headset to the amp, and from the amp to the controller. So I suppose in total there are 2 cords.

- Answer 1. You have a wheel control that you turn with your thumb that can either increase the volume for chat and decrease the volume for the game or decrease volume for chat and increase the volume for game. It is either one or the other. 2. Under settings on your in PS4, you can set it either way.

QuestionLow Mic Volume? My party can barely hear me talk.I'm familiar with Turtle Beach headsets and recently purchased the PX24s. On my first day of using them (on PS4), I was told that my party could barely hear me. Naturally, I went in to the Device Settings and turned the Mic all the way up, and was told that it improved a little bit. The last thing I tried was changing the setting on the mixer form PS4 to PC. That supposedly improved the Mic volume a good deal. Can someone explain to me what else I can do to improve the volume at which my Mic sends traffic to my chat members?

- Answer I have the same issue. When the voices are too low, i switch off the mixer and just use the headset. At which point, i was able to hear my friends voice clearly and vice versa.
