Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The horizontal steel frame bar in the rear begins on the third shelf and ends at the bottom of the last shelf. Underneath the bottom shelf there is no blocking, so you are able to place the wires and power bricks. Although that steel frame you see on the picture has these straps that allows you to hide the cables. It is a great TV stand and I also like to hide the cables and the power bricks. I do recommend. I have a 55" curved TV and I have all my gaming systems connected with ethernet cables. All the cables are hidden perfectly.
