You have to put it together but it's very easy and the instructions are also easy.

It requires 1-2 hours of assembly. It is very sturdy and well designed once assembled.

You have to put it together and for some part of the assembly you need a 2nd person to assist. The only tool you really need is a screwdriver and everything else that is needed is included. I think it's definitely a great quality stand that will last you for years.
