Yes. That is exactly what these lights do...and much more. I highly recommend you also purchase the Music Dongle. It allows syncing to music via its Bluetooth/WiFi microphone. Lots of fun!

It comes pre-programmed with 20+ patterns for the lights and you can make your layout to be something other than a tree. You can also make your own patterns, based (mostly) off the pre-made ones. I have mine hanging on my living room wall in much the same shape as the curtain lights. I then programmed it for my layout and the effect is amazing! (I've turned my living room into my workout room, so needed some flashy lights for inspiration!) These will work great on your gazebo. The lights are pretty bright as well. There are two different pre-programmed heart related patterns. I would recommend watching some of the videos on YouTube so you can see some of the other applications besides using on a tree.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 3 of their 600 light strings I keep on a tree all year round. They can do what you're masking but I'd recommend to shop for a cheaper option. They are built to be able to make a picture by covering a lot of area, think of every light as a single pixel on your tv, the more you have lined up side by side the clearer the image displayed. For example with all the lights on my tree I show animation of snow falling when the weather calls for it. It looks like white and purple snowflakes falling on a soft blue background. Tomorrow I'll have hearts, 4th of july a flag, etc. To just have mood light strips maybe took at something closer to the Hue products, but it can do what you're asking

However, I just noticed my Generation II (the newest in 2024) have a warning label that specifically says "Not for permanent installation". So, I have to wonder how weatherproof they are. These lights are awesome and I may buy more, but they just seem pricey to risk on a permanent installation when the manufacturer specifically warns against this. Obviously, no warranty coverage if you do this.
