“When I plug my charger into the wall to recharge, the flashing blue lights (which indicate it is charging) stay on for a few minutes then stop flashing all together. If I replug it into the wall it will resume but its unrealistic to keep replugging it in.”

if they stop flashing the unit is fully charged. To verify press the button next to the leds & they should all light up...they will shut off automatically.
