• If the only reason you are getting this TV is so you can access Netflix than you do not have to hook it up to your satellite. You can simply set up the Roko and download the Netflix app and you are good to go.

• If you are only going to use the TV for streaming services, then all you need is the WiFi connection, as it just needs to be able to connect to the internet to allow you to reach the streaming services and App's that come with the ROKU tv.

• If you have WIFI, you set it up to work off of that and then input your Netflix log in info into the TV. Works just like if you were doing it on a computer.

• This tv does not need anything but wifi to get tons of channels. Works great for Netflix and youtube and many others. Great picture too.

• No, you will not need to connect this to your satellite service. To use Netflix, you will first need to connect the TV to your wireless network, then log into the Netflix app with your account info.
