“Is there a slideshow app for showing random photos from a large number (5000)? I want to plug in a usb drive. Ideally, the TV would read subfolders, but I can create a usb drive with all the photos in a single folder. Can the TV randomize 5000 photos?”

Yes, it will take longer than the usual time to read, but it can be done. Now we tried quite a few in one folder with no problems. FAT32 USB format though...will try a different one and see who that works.
