I'm not an expert but I believe you would use the RCA jacks in the back of the TV (red, yellow, white). I also think the yellow is the for the video input the others are sound.

Depending on how old your system is, your "single pin" cable may be a coaxial cable like those used for cable TV and antennas carrying an old-fashioned analog TV signal aimed at channel 3 or 4. If so, you're in luck as this TV has cable TV/antenna coax input. More likely, you have another "single pin" connector once used by video systems, I forget what it's called, that has a twist connector around the core wire instead of threads - this will not work, but may be convertible to an "RCA video connector" - these are typically colored yellow - this TV also has an RCA video input connector (along with red and white audio inputs that use the same type of connector). These analog RCA connectors would usually be used to connect an older DVD or VHS player to the TV. Good luck with it.
