• Try charging the battery fully before use in vehicle. If not, the battery is not holding a charge and is defective or needs replaced

• Happened to me as well, I think the battery is just weak so i put it on collision mode but i think the battery still dies. Luckily my Ford Fusion 2016 keeps the power going to the dash cam so it actually stays recording but after a while my Ford will cut the power so it won’t drain my car battery. So its like having another battery.

• Yes , after you park the recorder runs for about ten seconds, then it goes into collision mode (sleep) until there is an event( motion or collision) . then it starts recording again. These parameters can be set in the menu area of the device.
