Hi Robbie, I see you got no reply from a year ago! I have just purchased a fully refurbished Uniden DC4 dash cam. Same problem. I have a brand new 2019 Honda Civic RS Sensing sedan. Haven't checked that out yet, but when I install using cigarette lighter to camera power cord supplied, the dash cam does not recharge and cuts out Hopeless. Did you sort out your problem?
