QuestionTHE ONLY OUTPUT ON MY TV IS OPTIC, WILL THIS WORKI WANT A SPEAKER FOR MY OUTSIDE TV ON MY MOTORHOME, WE DID TRY A SOUND BAR, BUT IT WASN,T MUCH BETTER THAN THE TV SPEAKER. I WOULD LOVE THE RECEIVER TO BE BATTERY, BUT COULD SET THE SPEAKER UP BEHIND THE CHAIRS FOR ELECTRIC

- Answer no this will not work for you, it needs speaker type connections.

Question2.4ghz only? Other wireless devices can interfere?I'm in a small apartment, with a wireless router and various other wireless devices... many that are operating on 2.4ghz. I am planning on getting a new Yamaha 5.1 receiver with built in Airplay and Wifi so I can use my Android Tablet to control the stereo through the Wifi... Won't this 2.4ghz only on this Rocketfish have problems with all of that?? Some friends tell me that you won't actually HEAR much difference in the speaker audio but that other devices might be forced to accept a much weaker signal and be handicapped by it...

- Answer Yes you may experience interference from other devices if you use this in a small space. The maximum distance between the wireless sender and wireless receiver is 100 feet. Other devices such as cordless phones, microwaves, etc, may cause interference. If this is the case, then turn each device off one at a time to determine which one is the source of interference. Also make sure that the wireless sender is more than 18 inches away from any Wi-Fi routers.

QuestionBridgeable?Is the 2x25w amplifier that is in the receiver bridgeable? By bridging I mean boosting power to a mono channel by combining a mono signal across the two channels to a single 8ohm speaker.

QuestionAny way to turn the receiver on automatically?I have one of these units, and it is brilliant! I also have the power supplies for both sender and receiver on radio controlled switches, to turn them off after I've finished listening to them (as the units are hidden away). My question, is it possible to get the receiver to switch on automatically when it receives power? Maybe by using some tape to hold the power button in permanently or something (though I believe that puts the unit into "learning" mode)?

- Answer If you turn off the power to them, they will not automatically turn on when you bring the power back. Why not just let them stay on at all times? Their power consumption is negligible.

- Answer Had the same question but the actual version has the wide range of voltage in both sender and receiver. This is a quote from the manual: "Plug the small (female) end of the power cord into the AC 100-240V~ 50/60Hz jack on the back of the wireless receiver."

Questioncan this work with PC speakers having an aux-in and 3.5 mm input plugcan this work with PC speakers having an aux-in and /or a 3.5 mm input plug? I was thinking of making an adaptor that will separate 3.5mm stereo plug to 4 wires (1 pair for left and 1 pair for right) and fit it into the rocketfish receiver unit. This I plan to do to extend speaker on another room(zone B) but using pc speakers with subwoofer. What's the better input(3.5mm or Aux in) to use if this will work.

- Answer The RF-WHTIB is intended to be used with a home theater system with speaker wire outputs and not with striped 3.5mm wire outputs. As such I cannot recommend using it in the way you stated.

- Answer No, each receiver must have a corresponding transmitter. The RF-WHTIB cannot pair more than one receiver to a sender. You could use two senders and two receivers, one pair for each side.

- Answer Turn on the Sender (small box) until the red light blinks. Turn on the Receiver (bigger box) and hold until they synch. When that didn't work after multiple tries. . . . On the back of the receiver (bigger box) there is a connect button, as well as the power button. I had to hold both down to make it synch.
