A:AnswerIt should, as all you need is to be able to run speaker wire from the Sony receiver to the Rocketfish transmitter, then another speaker wire from the Rocketfish receiver to the speaker. I have the Sony STR DH770, and I believe that yours is the same as mine with a few upgrades, so it should work as good as mine.

A:AnswerYes - that does work. I have the exact setup in my home. The receiver also has a level adjuster to control the output level of each speaker. This allows you to send more output to the left rear speaker than the left surround speaker.
A:AnswerI have used these on a Bose acoustimass 6 III and they work great. The living was small so distance may make a difference or interferance with other wireless equipment. But no issues at home with these on my Bose system.
A:AnswerWe do have sound but it's not as strong of a sound as when the speakers were wired. The closer the boxes are, the better. Also check for line of sight.
