• Again, what do you mean by "burn"? Do you mean making a copy?

• The final format of the video file. Make sure it is something like MP4 and not an HD, or HDD format. Most generic DVD players have limits on what format they can play. The owners manual should tell what format works best. Also you need to finalize your disk before it can be used with other players. Finalizing just closes out the video and lets the dvd player know where it ends.

• To play on another device the disc would need to be finalized with the recording software. The other computer would also need the a player software installed.
