• It does have 16gb. I'm not sure why it says 8gb, but I purchased this phone and am actually using it now. It does have 16gb's of memory.

• 16 GB total internal memory. A little over 5 is used for OS and pre-installed apps. Phone has Android marshmallow which allows you to format SD card to use as internal memory. (Google search for this feature)
