If you get the Verizon version, it comes unlocked. So long as the carrier is something like straight talk or trackphone it will work with a BYOP Verizon tower sim. I use mine on straight talk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not this particular one, since it's the Moto Z Play Droid Edition, which is for Verizon only. You'd get the Unlocked Moto Z Play, which is $400 right now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe this is unlocked and dual mode, at least it says it is in the specs. You can verify at the store, but it should be able to switch between GSM and CDMA modes. Verizon is CDMA but converting to GSM with the rest of the world eventually.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry NEPATRIOTS21, YES, the phone WILL WORK on SOME other networks. You just have to make sure the other network can use one of the frequencies this particular phone covers. Also, you would also probably need a pre-paid SIM package/kit for the other carrier. Just make sure the network you want to use it able to work with the phone's capabilities. Also, Verizon offers a pre-paid service. I don't know if you would get any discount on the phone if you use it but it would be worth asking. I hope this helps!
