In my opinion, yes it is the product. We purchased one in Dec 2019 and by late spring 2020 it was having problems. The Refrigerator kept beeping at various hours saying the temperature was off (both Freezer and Fridge). Sometimes the temp was off, sometimes it wasn't. Viking service came out numerous times, replacing various parts, and they could not fix the problem. Fortunately, it was under warranty, and after multiple unsuccessful attempts for repair I requested a return/refund. I was worried I would be stuck with a bad refrigerator that they couldn't fix, and would fall off of warranty. I was very grateful the accepted the return and I got my money back. I did NOT buy another viking refrigerator.
