Q: QuestionQuick scenario, bought a car that had viper remote start installed at dealer when new. Car was traded in, viper was removed before resale. Can a newer viper be installed to function exactly as the first one? Ps ecm states no communication (obviously).

• A:Answer As long as that output was connected during installation, the app can do it. However, not all shops include trunk release in their basic installation package. Sounds like your shop did not include that connection in their basic install.
