Anyone used with a Chromecast or something similar? Would this be compatible with a Chromecast or something similar? I assume it would since my Chromecast plugs into HDMI... So, hypothetically, my set up could be 'cast' from an iPad to the Chromecast/projector, which throws to a screen?

Yes that's what I did. I downloaded the movies first. Onto my iPad

Yes, but you only have one HDMI, so if you want to use another HDMI device you either need a VGA converter, or you will need a receiver with HDMI passthrough, which is what I do. I run all my components through the receiver, and one HDMI into the projector. I switch the components via the receiver.
