Q: QuestionMusic & etc in movies are usually MUCH louder than the dialog, does this soundbar have a way to either cap the music & sound effects levels or the volumes in general so it won't go beyond the set number?

• A:Answer In the menu of the TV or streaming device, turn sound check on. That should normalize sound from peak highs to peak lows. Dynamic sound will be flatter overall.

• A:Answer The sound bar would not be able to control the volume of the TV speaker's audio, only the volume of the sound bar audio. For most TV's you will only be able to use either the sound bar audio or the TV audio but not both at the same time. The ability to use ear buds at the same time as the TV audio would be dependent on the audio settings available in the TV. However, if you are wanting to send audio from the sound bar to your ear buds, this would not be possible as the sound bar is only able to receive audio from connected devices and is not able to send audio out to devices. • A:Answer I own a new Color TV ( 43 in. Diagonal screen). We bought a starter speaker, in price about 99.00$ on sale. The speaker is a Sound Bar, Vizio, 2.0 w/ Dolby Audio, connected through HDMI. The sound pressure level is 95dB. The performance is adjustable for Bass And Treble boosting, and will blow the origial tv speakers for that tv, out of the water. I am now interested in getting a slightly more powerful speaker to go with my big screen. I am confident the results will make the effort fully worthwhile, and exceed my expectations. In a word, amazing! You will swear you are in a Theatre, rather than your home.T

Q: QuestionWe have a Vizio TV with HDMI ARC connection and a Tivo streaming box. Both have remotes, but the Tivo remote has been taught to control the Vizio. The 2.0 soundbar says it has one HDMI port, as do the TV and the Tivo box. How can I connect all three?

• A:Answer HDMI cable is included, along with diagrams for connecting both ends of the cable. Be sure to check all labeled ports, so label on provided cable matches port being connected . Also , look at the port with a flashlite. Make sure it is the same size and shape of the connector end of the provided cable. Never force it on. A little resistance, but hardly any real force.
