“My Vizio only gets 6 or 7 Channels on it’s remote. I use my old Universal Remote to get the full range. Is there something wrong with the Vizio Remote or is it me?”

1. Go into setup and select either Broadcast/Antenna or Cable to match tour setup and rescan for channels. 2. Watch as it scans to see how many active channels it finds. 3. Use the channel Up button to switch to the next highest channel. The number of channels should be close to the number found in scanning, even if the some channels have no programming. 4. Try to select those channels using the number pad. If it doesn't match what you found with channel up, the remote is bad.
