“I have trouble hearing the dialogue over the loud sound effects which drown it out. (1) Is the center channel primarily for dialog? (2) Can the the center channel volume be turned up separately? (3) If so, can this be done with the remote?”

The center channel of this sound bar would be were a majority of your audio would come from. The center channel does have its own separate adjustment that can be changed from the remote.
