- Answer 3.0 is better in my opinion. I absolutely hate how the dialogue is difficult to hear during action scenes with two channel bars. Plus this model has a port for a subwoofer to added if desired, making it 3.1.

- Answer 2.1 indicates a left and right channel, and a subwoofer. 3.0 indicates a left, right and center channel, but no sub. Hope this helps.

QuestionCan I connect a CD player through this soundbar?

- Answer The soundbar has 3 different types of inputs. Input type 1 is an Optical Input . If your CD Player has an Optical output (Fiber Optic) then yes, it will work. Input type 2 is an 1/8" 2.5mm Jack (Standard Headphone) . If your CD Player has a Standard Headphone output then it will work. Input type 3 HDMI . If your CD Player has an HDMI output then it will work. If your CD player is a component with RCA Outputs (1/4" Jack) . You will need to purchase a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter.

QuestionSo with Bluetooth capabilities, can I buy a set of wireless headphones and connect wireless and then turn the room volume to zero and still have sound to the headphones?

- Answer No. There are 2 kinds of Bluetooth devices, devices that can 'send' audio, and devices that can 'receive' audio. The soundbar can 'receive' audio over Bluetooth from another device (like a phone) but it can't 'send' the audio to another device.

QuestionIf I place the sound bar in front of my TV it will block the remote sensor on the TV. If I place it directly behind the TV on the stand the TV will block approximately 1/4 inch of the top of soind bar. Will this affect the quality of sound received?

- Answer Out of those two options, I would put it behind if you can. A quarter inch should not effect it much. Can you lift the TV on a box so it sits higher? I have seen people do this. They either buy or build a nice looking box so it can raise the TV a few inches for the soundbar and soundbar can sit in front where it was designed to be.

- Answer You may have to turn ARC on is a menu on your TV. That's how my Sharp is.

- Answer The Sub output is not amplified - it's just a high impedance output to drive a sub woofer amp. So, you'll need a sub-woofer with an internal amplifier to operate with this sound bar. That's what I'm running and it works great.

- Answer You can connect a wired self powered subwoofer to the wired RCA plug Sub out port on the sound bar.

- Answer Look at page 30 of the manual...there it shows you how to set the sound Bar into "learning mode". You use the Visio remote to do this...then use your TV remote to set "Volume -" , "Volume +" , "Mute". Both remotes must be pointing at the Sound Bar, NOT the TV.

QuestionIs this soundbar compatible with LG 55G2-UG tv that needs optical connection? I need a 3 channel bar. With a center speaker voices. I am hard of hearing. It is hard to hear clear voices With all the background noise and music in movies.

- Answer Yes Randy it can be adjusted by pressing the menu button until ( CENTER ) is displayed on the remote's screen then toggle up or down. The lights on the left side of the sound bar will indicate the level. Good luck & have fun.
