Out of those two options, I would put it behind if you can. A quarter inch should not effect it much. Can you lift the TV on a box so it sits higher? I have seen people do this. They either buy or build a nice looking box so it can raise the TV a few inches for the soundbar and soundbar can sit in front where it was designed to be.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are frames that attach to your TV so that you can attach the soundbar to the TV (at the top of the TV, or at the bottom). If you have a pull-out or swivel mount, the soundbar moves with the TV.
