A:AnswerIf the sub-woofer is powered (does not need a receiver/amp) and has an RCA connection it should work. I have a ten year old Yamaha YST-FSW050 and it is compatible.

A:AnswerNo, the sound Bar systems are designed to work as stand alone devices. You can connect a subwoofer to this bar through the Subwoofer Out on the bar itself but it does not allow for additional speakers to be added.
A:AnswerAny powered subwoofer will work, a powered subwoofer has an amplifier built in. DO NOT buy a passive subwoofer, a passive subwoofer requires an external amplifier.

A:AnswerI have had this unit for about 6 weeks. It does have bluetooth issues, but I am always able to connect. It sometimes takes a few times to get connected to a device for streaming audio and then it also seems to have difficulty switching back and using tv as input. I bought specifically because I have vizio smartcast tv, but the interaction is not as smooth as I would like.
