“We hooked ours up to our Vizio Tv with the HDMI cable, not working on our TV? - sound bar does work - hooked up with HDMI cable - the Tv shows it has found the sound bar but not connecting apparently (no sound) - it will turn off the Tv speaker but no sound is coming from the sound bar - anything we can trouble shoot to get this thing to work or will have to return”

Use the orange out coaxail cable for sound hookup. Be sure to check that you hooked into the proper hdmi output from the tv. It's not 1 of the regular outputs that's used for output for other devices

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is a bit touchy. At first the same thing happened to me but I unplugged the power and let it recycle. The subwoofer automatically finds the sound bar. When I turn off the tv-I have to hit the power button for the sound to come back on and there is a 2 or 3 second delay before it comes back on. ( I did not have it turn off the sound of my tv-I just turned it down manually)
