• No, you need an external anntena. Also you need internet connection to use the Smart features.

• No. I haven't dug my old antenna out of storage yet, so I get absolutely no over the air stations. Just apps from wifi. I assume it would work as well as any other tv with an antenna.

• Cox cable is switching to make all tvs have a box, even for regular cable. we do get local news no problem
