“We have a 36" wide opening for a tv, will this fit? Dimensions say it will but can someone measure exactly and tell me if they are just shy of 36" like it states? If so, it will fit. Thanks!”

• Yes. I just setup the VIZIO D40U-D1 TV and it measured 35-7/8" wide by 23-1/4" tall, including the stand/legs. It is 21-3/8" tall without the stand.

• Mine is 36" so if your opening is 36" it going to be tight fit. Might have to trim your opening.

• You should have about 1/8" to spare. It will be very snug but it will fit!
