• No from my experience. You can plug in the electric socket at your home, connect to wifi and watch from your favorite streaming services that you are already subscribed to.

• The TV will come with a power cord included in the box when purchased. VIZIO would recommend to connect any external devices to the TV with additional HDMI cords for the best audio and video quality.
