“Looks washed out when viewing from the side. Picture looks great when looking from the front but when viewing a little off to the side it looks all washed out.What is the best pic setting maybe I need to adjust. Thank you”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Like all Tvs this one needs to be caliberated to get the best resolution. This may not help with the wash out look from the side though, if you have a windows 7 Pc you have a bilt in caliberation tool on your pc which you can use to caliberate your. TV FOR FREE. The next more reasonable option is amazon they sell a DVD or blu ray designed to calberate your Tv for 40.00. There is also a THX app that I tried, but It didnt work out for me.

Please try again later.I'd suggest making sure the picture mode is calibrated, the brightness is set to either high automatic or 100% with automatic off, and also changing the dynamic contrast setting to medium. On mine I also needed to bump the sharpness, and tint up just a bit. After that the picture was quite good out to about 60 degrees on either side of the TV.
