“Audio The description says 1 hdmi "input" for sound which is confusing since sound is an output. The picture clearly shows 3 hdmi's which are usually "input". I know I am sounding a little confusing but is it supposed to be "2 hdmi input and 1 hdmi output" or all three capable of being both or maybe just one on the side?”

It has 3 HDMI inputs for DVD, videogames, whatever. It advertised the 1 HDMI for sound as in this TV has 1 HDMI input that is ARC (you can see it on the picture of the TV). ARC is Audio Return Chanel. This means if you have a home theater system that HDMI can carry the sound from the TV to your theater system. In this case it would kind of be an "output" instead of an "input" however you can still have that same HDMI input a video signal from the theater system if it plays movies for example.

Please try again later.Page 20 of the Vizio 'User's Manual' shows that on the back of this TV you can use either the a) lower left HDMI, b) upper right optical, or c) upper right RCA connection to connect your sound OUTPUT from the TV to a receiver or sound bar INPUT with HDMI providing the best, optical the 2nd best, and RCA the lesser sound transmission method. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think all Hdmi are inputs only, maybe the hdmi marked ARC can also output sound since it is used to interconnect other systems like dvd, bluray, sound, togheter. The tv does have RCA sound output though.
