• Yes! This model does have a live TV mode, It may be super pixelated but that's the best you can get even on Samsung TVs.

• Yes, you are able to watch your local channels through the Vizio TV without cable or satellite so long as you have an antenna connected to the coax port on the back of the TV. Thanks!
