To the best of my knowledge this refers to the fact that it doesn't have a standard coaxial cable input (the standard cables that come from your set top box). This specific TV also doesn't have any storage on it so you must connect it to a smart phone in order to watch apps like netflix on it.

This does, however, have HDMI ports to be able to connect to your HD devices, such as your cable box, satellite receiver, gaming consoles, and more.
