A:Answer For me, I had it mounted on the bottom, despite it being dolby atmos. Whenever it was active, I felt I couldn't hear the effects well enough to tell the difference. So, if you really don't want to take the chance, try mounting the sound bar on top of the tv and it will still reach the ceiling. For me, it wasn't that big of a deal.
