A:Answer I have the same problem and getting error 0x91d7000a when playing BD on Xbox One S. My setup is Xbox hdmi out -> soundbar hdmi in -> soundbar hdmi arc <-> vizio E70-f3 tv hdmi arc.
But if I change the setup to Xbox hdmi out -> TV hdmi 3 and with soundbar hdmi arc <-> vizio E70-f3 tv hdmi arc, then I'm able to play the movie.
The catch is that Dolby Atmos is DROPPED, and I'm trying to play discs such as Fantastic Beasts and Sicario which have Atmos audio, the signal via TV to soundbar drops to Dolby Digital only.
I spent an hour on phone with vizio support no help at all (pure waste of time), they simply threw back the problem at Microsoft.
What's the point with an Atmos soundbar if BD can't be played?
Strange that Vizio support says it's a Microsoft issue when direct connection between Xbox and Vizio TV is working, it's only not working when the soundbar is in the middle.
Funny that both soundbar and TV are Vizio made.
