QuestionHow to connect multiple devices to soundbar? Should I use hdmi switch or should i connect all the devices to the TV via hdmi and then connect tv to the soundbar? I got samsung KU6500, and i read online that some TVs may downmix audio (make 5.1 into 2.0)

QuestionWill this system work properly if I connect external speakers (that are pre-wired in my ceiling) where the satellite speaker plug in? So I want to replace the sat speakers with new round 8 inch ceiling speakers for my surround.

- Answer The satellite speakers need to connect to the subwoofer through a wired connection and use a digital coaxial audio cable for that connection. Thanks -Randal

QuestionCan I hook up a non-ARC HDMI output from TV to the ARC HDMI input port and an RCA output from a CD player (yeah, I still have a CD player) to the RCA input for toggled use simply based on which device is in use, without having to unplug and replug?

- Answer Thanks for your interest. The sound bar had a 3.5mm input, red and white RCA connection, optical audio input, a digital coaxial connection and an HDMI in and out for ARC. These can be used when connecting devices. -Randal

- Answer Yes. My wife had the same problem. You can adjust the volume on the surround speakers separately from the center speakers. Proper volume settings cured that problem.

- Answer My Vizio 5.1 Surround System does not need to do this. I can hear voices clearly, without trying to localize to rear speakers. This was one of my major concerns before purchasing. The Geek Squad set mine up for me, and balanced it as well. I hope yours can work this well, when correctly balanced.
