“External Hard Driving Playing I have a lot of my movies on a external hard drive can I plug the hard drive into the USB port and will it play the movies, I know I have been able to play them on a Samsung TV, just didn't know if the Vizio was set up to do that. I have no programs on the hard drive just movies, that I have converted over from Old CD.”

• I have my external HD running through my computer connected to TV with an HDMI cable, works great! Don't know if it would work without computer, if it does, it won't work as well as with a computer! The computer gives you the added bonus of live TV from many sites, and all the internet from your living room chair/couch!

• I'm not sure about the hard drive, but I've been able to play movies from my flash drive, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.
