2Things are required. With Netflix you have to subscribe to there most expensive package to view 4K Movies. (Only about 30 Movies that support 4K). On Youtube you have to find 4K Content and make sure you are streaming it at 4K.

You cannot access any applications through the display itself. All apps are accessed by Casting them from your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. Please try again later.i was able to stream 4k content on netflix and youtube when i used my iphone 6 s plus instead of the android tablet that came with the tv. download the vizio smartcast app to your smartphone and use that instead and you should be able to get 4k with no problem
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chrome cast is the only options for this tv, and it has yet to be capable of casting 4K content, despite their claims. Chrome cast can only cast up to 1080p content, even if you have a proper 4K video and high enough bandwidth. So sadly there is no other options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just returned this product because chrome cast cannot stream 4K through YouTube or Netflix, despite Vizio's claims. Chrome can only cast 1080 max so any 4K video content won't stream properly, even with proper content and high enough bandwidth.
