Long story short, you can't. It has nothing to do with vizio but instead Google/Amazon and the integrated Chromecast. Amazon decided a while back that they do not want to support streaming on any of the Chromecast devices. The easy work around for this is an Amazon fire stick or roku stick. (I recommend this route, and the streaming sticks are extremely affordable) Or alternatively you can use the Google Chrome browser on your computer to cast the content of your web browser to the TV. So simply watch Amazon video content while casting the screen and it will show on your TV.

Please try again later.Because the Amazon Prime Video app does not allow Chromecasting (this is due to a dispute between Amazon and Google, and is not unique to Vizio displays), you cannot, at this time, cast Amazon Prime videos directly to the M55-D0. I say "at this time," however, because Vizio is in the process of adding a casting interface directly on the display itself, and this interface includes the ability to cast Amazon Prime videos. I am currently beta-testing the new interface, and it does indeed work. Unfortunately, I don't have a timeline for when this update will roll out for all user, but it should be soon. In the meantime, you can use an Amazon Fire TV device or a ROKU device, and these do allow direct casting of Amazon Prime videos.

You can watch Amazon and your options are: 1) Have an Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick in one of the HDMI ports or 2) VIZIO just launched SmartCast TV on 8/2/17 which means the apps are back on the TV. The Mxx-Dx Series will have an automatic update in the coming weeks and you will be able to watch Amazon through the Amazon app on the display.You can call customer service for the new IR remote if that is your preferred method of controlling your TV.
