“How is the 1080 upscaling on this TV? Rtings says it's not that great. Since most cable and satellite stations are 1080P, how does this tv do?”

• Actually Rtings says "Upscaling for DVD(480p) low-quality or standard definition content is slightly worse than average. Similar to other Vizio TVs, DVDs appear a bit soft. 720p content such as Cable is slightly more soft than usual, resulting in some minor loss of detail. 1080p content such as regular HD Blu-rays look good once upscaled. The image remains sharp. 4k the image is very clear and detailed." So, if you watch 1080P content or 4k content you should be fine. If you watch DVDs and standard definition shows then expect a softer image.

• For the money this tv is awesome, PlayStation streaming and games look great I haven't used 4K capabilities yet. This is coming from a 1080p DLP TV point of view, 11 years old but was great at the time. Huge upgrade from DLP
