• I also bought a vizio 5.1 soundbar to complement my tv. If your audio signal is 5.1 then yes your tv will output 5.1 audio to your soundbar.

• There is an HDMI audio out that should be able to connect to your sound bar. I have a Yamaha 7.1 Reciever, and it works great together

• Look up 5.1 Dolby n it should explain why the tv does not directly put out the 5.1 sound. Without the surround speakers 5.1 Dolby can't be put out if a tv with one/two speakers.

• Yes it does...it also supports ARC ( audio return challled ) on one of the Hdmi. If your sound bar suports ARC then the tv will tell the sound bar what soind mode to go in automarically.
