“can i download new apps to the tv? I'm assuming i cannot add new apps to this tv. was hoping to add cbs news to it. i don't see a way i can which stinks i could with a samsung. maybe vizio can make an software update that will add this ability.”

• This TV has a built in APP store -- I have not looked for CBS News specifically, but to answer your question from the title line - Yes, you can download new apps to the TV from the App Store.
