• Each series has a different setting for refresh rates. The 240 is more expensive as a result.

• My guess would be they implemented the 240hz clear cue software to save on real 240hz hardware processors to bring this tv in at a lower price.

• The main reason is price so they can be sold cheaper. but the new D-series is really only 60Hz and unable to interpolate lower frame rates like the M-series can.
