This set has never been $1099 to my knowledge. I paid 1489 one year ago from a full retail price of 2289. You may be thinking of the P series quantum. This is the P series quantum X. 2 different sets.

Durring that time I had this page bookmarked here at BB and it was "404 Not Found" the entire time it was at that price. As soon as everyone else was sold out and the price went back up .. suddenly the page was available again ... shifty BB :(
