• The key is using the app to adjust the surround sound while watching movies or regular TV, until it is to your liking. Turn the surround sound up if you like the complete surround sound experience. During a movie scene that the main characters were rained on, I thought it was raining outside.

• Yes, it does come with a remote. You should turn the volume down on your TV to avoid an echo.
